About Us

Sustainable Turning Points was founded by Gabrielle Edwards and Mitch Olson, whose professional backgrounds span sustainability research, environmental science, and organisational change. Their combined experience bridges academic research, policy engagement, and applied environmental practice to the team.

They created Sustainable Turning Points to support organisations that want sustainability to be meaningful rather than symbolic. Their work focuses on helping institutions move beyond statements and strategies to embed sustainability in governance, culture, and everyday decision-making.

Our Collaborative Approach

While Sustainable Turning Points is led by its co-founders, our work is often carried out in collaboration with a network of trusted partners and specialists. Sustainability challenges frequently span multiple disciplines, and effective projects often benefit from bringing together complementary expertise.

Our collaborative network includes researchers, educators, policy specialists, environmental scientists, and practitioners from civil society and the private sector. Many of these relationships have developed through international research collaborations, policy initiatives, and sustainability-focused projects across Europe and North America.

Depending on the needs of a project, we bring together partners whose expertise strengthens the work while maintaining the close, thoughtful engagement that defines our approach.

This model allows us to tailor teams to the specific context of each project, ensuring organisations receive the expertise and insight needed to support meaningful and credible sustainability initiatives.
